If the Federal government is truly a separation of Church and State having the phrase 'In God We Trust' on United States currency is a contradiction.
The Federal Government and the United States Mint is implying that all people of the United States are putting their trust in God. Although we understand the historical significance of this phrase it has no place on United States currency.
