Remove gun serial numbers from mandatory background checks. You can still verify the buyer is not a criminal without building a master registration list.
As it stands now it is clear making background checks that require a serial number is for the purposes of building a master gun registration list which may later be used for forced confiscation.
If serial number is needed to be ran for purposes of verifying the firearm is not stolen it can be done without documentation.
