Remove Halloween from the National Calendar to avoid the exploitation and corruption of our youth, and save money.

Halloween/Trick or Treat is a tradition that is crippling our society. Children are being misguided on the meaning and purpose of the holiday, none of which are true. There are no concrete definitions of Halloween anywhere. Older dictionaries state it is a day.where children go out begging. How disgraceful. What are we teaching our children. Other references are associating it with "All Saints Day". Halloween has nothing to do with saints. Several areas have documented a rise in criminal activity on this day. Parents and children are exploited and coaxed into purchasing large amounts of candy to give away. Money is spent on candy and costumes to encourage our children to walk around and beg for treats. It is all corrupt and defiling to our Almighty God.
