Remove the Health Savings Account (HSA) TriCare exclusion for service-connected veterans that are covered by law.

Created by P.R. on November 02, 2015

Service-connected veterans are covered by TriCare under mandate of law. As a result, these veterans are excluded from being able to open Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

While a HSA is primarily purposed for health care, it also serves as an investment instrument for retirement. By law, service-connected veterans cannot participate and save.

Please open HSA eligibility to recipients of mandated TriCare coverage for retirement savings.
