Members of the US Government have long enjoyed unfair health care benefits that appear to bypass laws and regulations. With the Affordable Care Act ("ObamaCare") around the corner, lawmakers are again creating exceptions for themselves so that they are not subject to certain regulations.
The fix is to make health care changes effective across the board for govt employees, and no exemptions! There is not one valid argument against this, other than wanting preferential treatment which is unfair. If you make/pass a law, you should be subjected to that law. Some people might not like the changes, but they will just need to deal with the changes like the rest of us.
