Remove the high-efficiency regulations on washing machines and allow the market to create machines that actually work.

Created by E.H. on May 23, 2014

So-called "high efficiency" washing machines often do not get clothes as clean as earlier models, since they use significantly less water and do not adequately rinse soap, dirt, and body odor out of the clothes. Consumers should be allowed to choose a washing machine which adequately meets *their* goals of respect for the environment *and* personal hygiene.
