Remove the Hughes Amendment that bans post 86 machine guns, or change it to a date more recent.

This is a petition to ask the Executive branch to at minimum effort reform the Hughes Amendment to the 1968 NFA act that bans any and all Class III fully automatic firearms manufactured and/or registered after May 19, 1986 to a more modern date, as the bill is outdated and serves as an oppression by the U.S. government against regular law-abiding citizens to adequately arm themselves and provide the country with a militia of efficient strength against domestic attacks by both terrorism and tyranny. Available Class III are antiquated and unobtainable economically to the 90% middle-lower class citizens, and semi-automatic firearms do not provide a sufficient force to repel possible attacks with enemies holding superior firearm capabilities. A revision to legalize pre- May, 2005 desirable.
