In the Controlled Substances Act, there is Ibogaine, from Iboga. It has been added as a precaution against its use recreationally. It has not been used recreationally, and can have side-effects if used recreationally. It has a real medical use, of which is to cure people of addiction of other drugs. It is an hallucinogen, but as that is temporary, and the hallucinations caused by the drug can be changed easily, so disorders caused by hallucinogens do not happen. Right now, there is treatment by Iboga, but it is illegal, and random people perform it. Legalizing it will cure drug addits, making the United States safer and will get professionals, that could perfect the procedure, making it safer.
