remove the influence of money in politics.

Created by F.S. on September 23, 2011

Current laws allow a variety of corporate and other interests to effectively control who lobbies our politicians, by contributing funds their campaigns. A better approach to removing this undue influence on our politicians is relatively simple.

Create an account that all political contributions must go to. This new account would be administered by a non-governmental third party that has no vested interest in determining who should receive campaign funds and who should not. Fair criterion would be established to ensure all candidates have a fair chance at receiving support and equal levels of publicity.

When politicians cannot directly receive benefit for cowtowing to lobbyists and their interests, the will of the voting public will be more apt to be done by our elected official
