James Clapper has served his country well, but has in the past ten years made some rather perplexing assertions regarding topics ranging from the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, to the viability of Gaddafi's regime, to simply not knowing the facts before addressing the general public or government officials in front of whom he has been called to testify. His comments in some cases can be characterized as falsehoods.
Director Clapper has repeatedly demonstrated his inability to cope with this conflict when it comes to articulating matters of Intelligence to the public, which in itself belies his department's misalignment with the Constitution of this great country.
We call for James Clapper to be removed as Director of National Intelligence.
