Remove Jane Fonda from any list that honors her as part of one hundred years of great women.

Created by B.S. on May 05, 2013

Jane Fonda, known as Hanoi Jane, should not be honored as one of the great women of the past century. Her actions in Hanoi, caused the beating, maiming, and death of multiple U.S. enlisted men at the Hanoi Hilton ( a famous north Vietnamese P.O.W. camp). She also discredited the U.S. troops and U.S. leaders by calling them "war criminals". When P.O.W.s returned to the U.S. and spoke out about their experiences while in captivity, Jane Fonda called them "hypocrites and liars" and stated that "theses were not men who had been tortured, had been starved, or had been brainwashed, these P.O.Ws were careerist and professional killers". This was a bold statement from someone that two years earlier, was arrested for bringing pills into the country. She is a traitor, not someone to be honored.
