Kim Davis broke the law by refusing to grant marriage license to same sex couples. She claimed that she could not do this because of her religious beliefs. She was put in prison only to be released on bail six days later, and now she is back at her job, still refusing to give marriage licenses to same-sex couples. There is a separation of church and state, and she was appointed to her position by the government, so she should not be able to claim religious beliefs. She should be removed from her position permanently since she cannot do the job fully, and because she broke the law.
