Remove the Kurdistan Workers Party from the list of international terrorist organizations

Created by L.O. on October 07, 2014

The PKK is not al-Qaeda or ISIS. The PKK has actively resisted terrorism. They were a force protecting and saving civilians affected by ISIS in Sinjar and saved thousands of lives. PKK were actively fighting ISIS in Sinjar, Bashiqa, makhmour and others in Iraq.
The PKK is a secular organization struggling for the right of Kurdish people to the type of freedom most people in western countries enjoy. The labelling of the PKK as a terrorist organization is simply a ploy by the Turkish state to continue its age old oppression of the Kurdish people under a cloak of legitimacy. The PKK believes in human rights and equality as well as to give women a strong voice and their history witnessed this. The Kurds in turkey do not have the right of identity. The PKK poses no threat to the western world.
