Remove the law that forces citizens to carry flood insurance. It is to costly to tax payers.

I live near a small 3 inch deep creek in Kentucky. Due to federal law I am being forced to obtain flood insurance. Not only is this extremely costly it is prohibiting me from getting buyers interested in purchasing my home. Now the government has doubled down on this horrible law and is requiring citizens to get a costly elevation survey. The government does not have the right force me to buy any type of insurance. Please join with me to remove this costly and restrictive law. I know there are millions of Americans in this situation.
