remove the loan origination date of "on or before May 31, 2009 in the HARP elgibility requirements."

Created by S.W. on June 29, 2014

Urge President Obama & Congress to remove the following HARP elgibility requirement, which currently only allows responsible homeowners to refinance with loans originating on or before May 31, 2009.
Having this date is unfair and it discriminates responsible homeowners from the opportunity to refinance their underwater mortgages. What if your original loan was in 2006, but refinanced in November of 2009? The responsible homeowner should still have the ability to refinance regardless if the loan note date changed in the attempt to save money or lower the rate. All homeowners that are current on their mortgages should have the right to refinance under HARP regardless of what their original loan date is or their refinance date. Help homeowners that have been responsbile and remove this date.
