It has become increasingly obvious that lobbying groups do not hold the best interests of the American people at heart. We need to stop allowing them to have influence over policy making. Any member of the government who accepts anything from a lobbying or special interest group (monetary, gift, privilege, free food, free trip, free anything, etc) needs to be promptly removed from office and criminal charges of bribery filed. This is unacceptable and we need to go back to Congress working for their constituents and not for businesses and corporations.
