Remove lobbyism for corporate/private interests so the government will make decisions for the people and not the wealthy

Created by J.M. on September 23, 2011

The American middle and lower class are tired of hearing about legislation being passed because of corporate and private "donations" through lobbyism. We wish for the removal of private and corporate lobbyism so that we know our elected officials will make decisions to represent the people that put them in office, and not to fatten their wallets.

Subsidies
No-bid government contracts
Drug Laws
Internet regulation
Energy Production and Distribution

These are only a few of the types legislation affected by lobbyism for corporate benefit. Capitalism requires free market and open competition. Lobbyism gives unfair advantages to large corporations while hurting small businesses and the lower/middle class. We want it stopped.
