Ethanol in our fuel: Whether it is a lawnmower, edger, motorcycle, boat, 4-wheeler or any motor vehicle and particularly collectibles (with older engines) . While ethanol has not been proven to benefit anyone (at all!) except ethanol producing farmers, there is substantial evidence of the damage it does to any engine.
Consumers should not be forced to use a less efficient and more costly fuel to only benefit farmers.
> Automobile w/ethanol - a typical tank of fuel fill up is just at about 14 gals and 315~340 mile range (22~24 mpg)
> Automobile w/pure gas - a typical tank of fuel fill up is just at about 14 gals and 350~390 mile range (25~27 mpg)
It is time to reverse this mandate and make better use of subsidy dollars.
