To ask from Congress and the White House, immediate action, in deposing or removing Mayor Maria Eloisa Melendez Altieri from the Municipality of Ponce and her Legislative Body. Her Administration is a threat to the Economy and the people of Ponce, Puerto Rico, even to democracy and labor rights recognized by the US Constitution.
Ponce doesn't need an electoral process, it needs an impeachment process and proper referral to a FEI, and a Federal Trustee. The time is ripe for an investigation and action, over what has been done with the people's money over the last SIX years. Congress, under Art. IV, Sec. 3 of the U.S. Constitution, has the power to intervene with it: as a territory; a condition reiterated judicially by the U.S. Supreme Court.
