As one state after another moves to legalize the sale of recreational marijuana, President Obama must remove marijuana from the DEA scheduled drug list.
Doing so will allow for the burgeoning free markets around the sale of marijuana to be able to operate like any other organization, by being able to use a bank.
Declassifying marijuana will also give comfort to more states seeking to legalize marijuana. In the states where marijuana is legal, the quality and safety of marijuana sold has greatly increased through effective regulation.
