To remove the Marijuana as a federal crime.

Created by J.R. on January 30, 2014

The Justice Department is not seeking to prosecute any persons in Washington and Colorado whom are utilizing this trending acceptance of marijuana. The US Government can save money, reduce cartel influences (as was seen in Uganda following their legalization), and profit from less incarceration by adding more taxable citizens into the system.

This not only promotes a healthy economy and new economic opportunity for small business but allows for greater amounts of tourist money to flow through our economy.

Furthermore, if the decision is made to seek decriminalization (or even full legalization) then the Department of Labor should be made to stop private employers from testing for the use of marijuana.
