Marijuana deserves to be taken off the list of Controlled Substances and legalized nationwide! It has been proven that marijuana's effects on the body are much less harmful then the effects of Tobacco and Alcohol. The American people deserve the right to enjoy a plant that is pure and comes directly from mother nature. The governments ban on marijuana is an example of lack of rights and it is unjust to strictly control the peoples' lives. More than 50% of America is in favor of legalizing marijuana, proving that as Americans the country should be run by the people, for the people, making our own decisions as a nation.
