Remove Marijuana from the list of schedule one drugs, so that it can be tested and proven to be of medical value.

Having Marijuana listed as a schedule one drug, means it has no medical value and keeps studies from being done to prove its medical uses. If this is true about Marijuana, then why did the FDA aprove a synthetic form of THC called Marinol? If Marijuana has no medical value, why would we need a synthetic form of its main ingrediant?
