Remove marijuana from schedule 1 drug classification

Marijuana is a plant created by God. With thousands of years of history, mankind has discovered many beneficial uses for this plant from the protein in the seeds, the ability to make oil from the seeds, the ability to use the natural fibers for clothing and rope, the medicinal uses for people suffering from cancer, eating disorders, and pain, and the economical benefits to our Nation by opening up an entire industry providing jobs, reducing prison populations, and eliminating a major revenue stream from the drug cartels. Adults in America should be allowed to make their own choices when it comes to using marijuana for medical reasons, or recreational use. While the use of legal drugs may not affect a persons ability to perform their duty, the legal implications and testing often do.
