In a recent article covering Montana's proposal to begin gassing wolf pups, Mark Collinge, the director of Idaho's Wildlife Services demonstrated an inferior approach to the idea of wolf management.
Grey Wolves have recently had their Endangered status reinstated and the very notion of killing wolves as a form of wildlife conservation goes against the very purpose of the ESA.
"As the wolf populations increase, the depredations increase and the number of wolf removals will increase. It's very logical," said Mark Collinge
"You just have to accept that part of having wolves is having to kill wolves," he said.
Review these quotes and ask yourself if this man is the right guy to oversee the preservation of Country's Wildlife. Wolves need to be managed by biologists and ecologists.
