In order to further the self-esteem of young girls around the world, we must remove the negative aspects of self-image. Women portrayed on the Maury Povich show depict unrealistic images to our youth regarding what is and is not attractive. Television and magazines have forced our daughters, sisters, and friends alike to believe that they must be skinny to be loved. Maury Povich furthers this by airing "Look At Me Now!" episodes, which show women and men who have become adult entertainers after a childhood of ridicule because they were too fat, had braces, wore glasses, etc. It is time to remove this trash from our children's eyes!! Allow them to be comfortable with themselves, the way they are instead of feeling inadequate or unworthy because they don't look like the girls on television.
