Remove Miguel Cabrera's 2012 American League Most Valuable Player award and grant the award to Mike Trout.

Created by A.K. on November 15, 2012

On November 15, 2012, Major League Baseball awarded the American League Most Valuable Player Award to Third Baseman for the Detroit Tigers, Miguel Cabrera. This is an injustice and needs to be corrected from a higher power.

There are many statistics which show that Center fielder for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim had a much greater season, but almost no coherent arguments regarding Mr. Cabrera candidacy. The two arguments for Mr. Cabrera are Triple Crown (arbitrary set of 3 statistics) and the Tigers made the playoffs (completely team dependent, in addition the Angels won more games than the Tigers).

The only defenders of Mr. Cabrera will completely ignore any type of defensive or base-running ability by Mr. Trout.

That is why I believe this injustice must be remedied.
