A recently concluded investigation by the Department of the Interior Office of Inspector General Case Number OI-VA-11-0371-I has uncovered corruption and mis-management under Superintendent Palfrey-Perez's stewardship.
During the course of it's investigation OIG agent's concluded, among things, "this investigation uncovered management issues at the park, which could be traced to Superintendent Myra Palfrey's inability to effectively supervise her employees as well as her lack of candor when being interviewed by the OIG."
We urge the Executive branch to restore integrity and competent management to Canaveral National Seashore by removing Superintendent Myrna Palfrey-Perez without delay.
