The National Football League is considered a non-profit organization for tax purposes and is benefiting extremely well from this classification. How can anyone really consider them to be non-profit when their commissioner receives millions of dollars in pay, the people of the United States can barely afford the tickets to games, and they are constantly having contracts with large companies which brings them billions of dollars. Basically what is happening is that the taxpayer is giving the money out of their pockets for these teams and the NFL. The Internal Revenue Service should be directed to really look into how they would classify as non-profit and reverse this blatant error which is only kept going because of Senators and Congressman getting their pockets lined.
