The Natural-born-citizen clause is highly unfair because it excludes many immigrants in America from running for the most powerful position in the free world. This clause was put in place when America was in a weaker place than it is now, and it was to prevent outside influence in our politics. However, that time has passed and now, we need to take away this clause or at the very least, review it. Immigrants in America today are some of the most patriotic citizens we have, and it is only just to include them. Why does it matter if someone was born in America or for example, France? If that person is a US citizen and has followed the laws and lived for more then 18 years in the US, he should have a right to run for President. After all, it is the voters' choice to elect him or not.
