Many US citizens lost their jobs not by any fault of their own. They were unable to pay many of their bills. Remove any negative marks on their credit so that we can start over. This will allow for many to restart their lives. Buy houses, obtain credit cards, etc. Not only will this help the consumers but the economy as well. The government bailed out the banking industry so why not the consumers themselves.
