This petition has been created for various reasons! As a student in high school in New York State, I believe we should not be forced to take Regents Examinations. These Examinations put a lot of stress on students. Whether its Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, or even English. These examinations don't prove anything. They don't prove how smart a student. These examinations just help argue that fact that all school is about is testing. That is not what we as students are supposed to be doing every single time. School is not all about taking tests. It's about learning new things that we as students can use in the real world to tackle every day problems and use the things we learn in our future careers. Regents Examinations also hold back students from graduating. There needs to be a end!
