It's clear that "No Child Left Behind" and the standardized testing that goes with it has failed. Let's either fund it or stop trying to hold schools accountable to it.
As a business owner it encourages schools to churn out students who can't think critically.
As a parent it means my kids become more stressed and bored at school and saps the love of learning right out of them.

The reality is that the US leads the world in patents per capita, and in innovation, so who cares if we rate below 20 other countries when it comes to standardized testing!
Let's refocus education on independence, creative thought, and embracing diversity of thought as we grow America into the next Century.
