Remove Noise Reducing "Silencers" or "Suppressors" from the National Firearms Act as a Class 3 Regulated Item.

Created by C.J. on January 15, 2016

Silencers are regulated under the National Firearms Act as a Class 3 item, that carrys a long list of requirements to be met before being able to take legal possession of the item. Before being added to the NFA suppressors, or silencers, were common practice with American gun owners due to the obvious benefits that come with potentially hearing-damaging noise reduction. These items are almost unheard of in criminal activity and have an unfair image based on Hollywood propagandaand misinformation. As such suppressors do not belong in this category of regulated weapons.
