The finition of incarceration is to burn a living process while in confinement, usually a tiny amount at time, to the time of cessation. In the past, incarceration was put to use, on occasion, for cases of Treason where the attacker was guilty of burning victims. The noun Treason was literally a reference to the offense of burning (Treas is “to burn a LIVING SON”). Incarcerate has a root “to burn” too, but the origin of the finition is not equal to that of Treason. Please notice (this is a certainty) that there is not any possibility of changing the finition. A very large percentage of the "use of" (abject-use of, actually) the noun incarceration has been to claim that typical confinement is occurring while Treasonously burning a victim to cessation in secret.
