remove the now-ridiculous White House petition site. It was a good idea till the public got hold of it.

The White House petition site, while excellent in theory, has become a wellspring of lunacy and stupidity. Petitions for the ridiculous and the impossible, the useless and the absurd, the counterproductive and the spiteful now pour forth from the teeming masses, who hope beyond all hope that their radical and ludicrous ideas might somehow come to be adopted and enforced by an office with no power to do so. We beg you Mr. President: Save us from this insanity and inanity. Do the right thing and take down this once noble but now preposterous site.
