We petition the government to remove the President's ability to unilaterally choose to launch the United States' nuclear weapons arsenal, in either a time of peace or war. We propose that the responsibility to make any final decisions regarding nuclear launches be placed with a top-ranked military general, the Vice President, or Congress.
