For the good of our economy, gas and oil must be removed from items that can be speculated on. It is a never ending cycle. As the economy gets better oil speculation goes up, causing the price to go up. This causes people to have less money to spend on other items which puts a drag on the economy. Oil and gas must get back to being priced on supply and demand. It not, the economy will never really improve.
