The First Amendment, Freedom of religion. Atheism can be classified as a religion the be protected by this right. If the very first amendment of the United States of America is freedom of religion, and Atheism is classified as a religion in this right, why are the words "One nation under God" in the pledge of allegiance? Since these words are stated in the pledge wouldn't this be classifying the U.S.A religion as one that has a god? That doesn't sound very fair for the American Atheist since they do not believe in god! So Atheist and "Believers" of God that understand the first amendment right of freedom of religion please support this petition! Thank you
