We have a huge problem in the United States in that peoples' opinions are being influenced by a vast media machine whose primary interest is no longer reporting accurate and true facts on television news programs.
The purpose of this petition is to request an Executive Order which mandates that ALL television programming which bills itself as a "News" Program be banned from airing paid advertisements for the duration of their show.
When the main goal of a "News" program is to secure a high Neilson Rating, instead of accurate and fair journalism, you wind up with an electorate of voters who are no longer capable of separating the truth from fiction and everyone suffers.
