Remove the penalties from not signing up for Obamacare

Created by J.G. on October 01, 2014

Obamacare is practically forced health care, I say practically because you don't "have" to be on it, but if you aren't, you are penalized.

Obamacare could cost the average family anywhere from 3 to 9.5% of their monthly income. To some families, that isn't possible to afford. Because it isn't "mandatory", some families decide against it, but when they do, they owe the government a fine.

That fine starts at $95 dollars per adult, per year in 2014, but increases exponentially to $695 per year and adult by 2016.

I am not petitioning to repeal Obamacare, but to remove the penalties for not signing up for health insurance.

Health insurance should be a choice, and you should not be penalized for not being able to afford health insurance.
