Remove the phrase "in god we trust" from all future currency & coinage created for use in the United Statess.

Created by D.R. on December 18, 2015

Separation of church and state is clearly defined in our Constitution. Church should have no influence on state or federal matters and government should have only necessary influence over a church. The United States was formed with freedom of religion in mind, but that also includes freedom From religion. The phrase/statement "in god we trust" implies that every individual and the government of the US trusts in god, and that simply is not the case. There are many Americans who choose not to follow any religion or follow religions other than the catholic/christian doctrine that is so often thrown in our faces by having its message printed on our money. This falsehood also empowers others to push religious agendas in other areas. It is time to remove this false statement from our currency.
