Based on the precedent of the separation of church and State, absence of an established religion in the United States, and acknowledging the growing number of American citizens who believe in various Gods, or do not believe in any God at all, we petition the Whitehouse to restore the Pledge of Allegiance to it's original form by removing the phrase "under God" from the text.
