In many schools across the country children reciting the Pledge of Allegiance say the following phrase: "one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all. Our constitution guarantees separation of church and state. This is a petition to eliminate "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance. Non-religious children should not have to say that God presides over the Earth.
