Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced in 2015 that the 10 dollar bill portrait of Alexander Hamilton would be replaced while maintaining Andrew Jackson's portrait on the 20 dollar bill.
Keeping Jackson, a notorious supporter of both slavery and the relocation of Native Americans, on the 20 dollar bill while removing the portrait of Alexander Hamilton is a disgrace to Human Rights and the hundreds of thousands that have died fighting for equality.
Alexander Hamilton was a lifelong opponent of slavery, an abolitionist.
We the people ask the U.S. Government to replace Andrew Jackson's portrait on the 20 dollar bill with the portrait of an historical Woman champion of democracy, and keep Alexander Hamilton on the 10 dollar bill.
