The fact that there are religious prayers, or anything related to religion in our Anthems, on our money and our pledge is a violation of the first amendment, which establishes the separation of church and state. The pledge and the national anthem are recited in many places where people who do not believe the same thing could take offence, like public schools. It being on our money (which would be an almost impossible problem to solve) blankly states "in god we trust", when it could state something less controversial Like "In America we trust".
