The Vietnam War, the Korean War, the Persian Gulf Wars and all subsequent conflicts were never officially declared wars as the constitution defines them, but rather police actions ordered on the whim of the president at the time which never had the benefit of being reviewed for facts before being undertaken.
I propose that the ability of the presidency to initiate these police actions be revoked and history books correctly refer to these events as police actions rather than wars.
