Remove privately owned firearm registration by military personel from current military regulations.

Created by J.W. on December 27, 2012

All military instructions pertaining to privately owned firearms should be removed.

It is immoral, illogical and hypocritical to require the military service men/women to devuldge their firearm ownership and their specifics. These men and women put their lives on the line to defend our constitution, national interest, citizens and way of life and they're being required to give private information to agencies that can only use the information against them.

There is no logical explanation as to how firearm registration helps law enforcement with any investigation, except in the case that the firearm is lost or stolen.

Firearm registration in no way prevents crime and does not stop an individual from obtaining weapons in general.

Criminals will not register anything.
