Remove Public Sex Offender Registry. Make it only viewable by law enforcement as they enforce the law not the citizens

This petition is to remove public access to Sex Offender Registry and to require anyone inquiring about local or individual sex offenders to request information through the local law enforcement to protect all citizens. Registry should also add all drug and violence also so that all citizens can be aware of dealers, users, and violent individuals nearby. The government is responsible for protecting the people and the public review of the registry can put not only the offender at risk and in harms way but always family members who are innocent or share the same name. This information should be only viewable by authorities not by general public unless specifically requested through their local sheriff department and should include all criminal offenders in the area.
