Remove Rachel Carson's childhood home from the National Register of Historic Places. And remove Rachel Carson's later home from the list as being recognized as a National Historic Landmark. All she really was, like Big Bird, was a heroine of PBS. And let's face it, most people have never heard of her and do not know who she is. So she is really not important or great enough to have her homes recognized and never torn down because what difference does it make really?
